* A rare combination of richness, smoothness and ripeness matched by a strong and scintillating, refreshing acidity. Has a lot of elegance and a very clean and crystal clear style wih beautiful refined and subtle nuances of fruit and minerals. Quite heavily oaked, but counterbalancing it beautifully with an impressive freshness and great mineral purity, maintaining its pure and mountain air-like freshness. Organic wine of high quality.

*  This modern and easy drinking wine with a tiny touch of subtle oak offers beautiful fruit in a velvety, compact and intense core, with concentration, but also  freshness and elegance next to some complexity and depth. A beautiful expression of terroir, surpassing its "modest" D.O.C.

* Maybe not the greatest expression of this Soave "Cru" terroir, this wine offers impressive quality, beauty, freshness, concentration, outstanding purity and an exemplary naturalness for a very affordable price.  No need for wood, just the purest of wine!!

Castello di Stefanago-Baruffaldi "Casaresca" Bonarda vivace  2004, D.O.C. Oltrepo Pavese. **HERITAGE WINE**
* If you just want pure and uncomplicated pleasure, try this organically produced wine: the expressive spicy and ripe cherry fruit combines nicely with the piquant, slightly rustic tannins, uplifting freshness and the attractive touch of sweetness. The very light sparkle adds an extra fresh and joyful touch. Not complex or deep, but just delicious.

Clivi "Galea"  2003, D.O.C. Collio Orientali del Friuli **HERITAGE WINE**
* A great wine from a "hot" vintage, but with an impressive freshness and a rich, ripe and concentrated character in which a symphony of complex, subtle nuances of herbs, nuts, minerals, flowers, honey and ginger is displayed, a wine with great depth, length, balance and  purity. This unique wine's character shows there is a whole world of breathtaking aroma's to be discovered next to those from Chardonnay, Sauvignon and even Viognier.

Clivi "Galea"  rosso 2000, D.O.C. Collio Orientali del Friuli
* An intense and expressive, mature and super classical wine: an intriguing mix of an earthy, classy Bordeaux (aroma's) with loads of phenolic and mature impressions of mushrooms, earth, cedar, farmyard and smoke and a structure of a classical Burgundy (less compact and tight than Bordeaux) combined with the elegance and remarkably freshness of a high quality Cabernet from the Loire. A wine from another era in the style of the 1970-ties, 100% naturally produced from very old Merlots, an absolute rarity.

Accattoli Verdicchio 2005, D.O.C. Verdicchio di Matelica . **HERITAGE WINE**
* A very attractive dry white wine with good and interesting regional character, a delicious freshness, nice richness and intensity, beautiful white fruit, minerals, a touch of nuts and herbs, very pure and clean style, excellent balance, great value for (little) money.

Accattoli  Lacrima 2004, D.O.C. Lacrima di Morro d'Alba. **HERITAGE WINE**
* A highly aromatic wine with the unique aroma pattern of the rare and regional (black) Morro d'Alba grape, loaded with spicy (cloves, pepper), red and black sweet fruit (cherry), a touch of flowers (wild rose). This pure, elegant, and medium bodied wine has a nice acidity, spicy and ripe (soft)  tannins, good intensity and is well balanced. A unique and very interesting wine contributing to the great diversity of aroma's and tastes in the world of wine.

Accattoli  Antheo 2004, I.G.T. Marche Rosso
* An impressive, powerful, concentrated and multi layered wine in a austere and classical style, impressions of earth, wood, spices, smoke and black fruit are well knitted together with the fresh acidity and powerful tannins, giving this wine length and class and above all its excellent balance. An ambitious wine, a hypothetical cross between a classy Chianti Classico and a bold Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.

Illuminati Campirosa  2003, D.O.C. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Cerasuolo
* This is a wine with character. A strong and excellently balanced rosÚ, both easy drinking and with enough personality to cope with various dishes. The well measured tannins, freshness, loads of cherry fruit and a succulent mid palate makes this wine so versatile and delicious.

Azienda Agricola Luigi Innocenti "Ribusieri" 2005, D.O.C. Montecucco. **HERITAGE WINE**
* An organically produced mature red wine with that special classy Sangiovese character: fresh, elegant, compact, a bit austere, spicy and earthy, pure, with nice cherry fruit, some smoke and balsamic nuances.
An excellent alternative for Chianti.

Poggio Trevvalle "Santippe" 2005, I.G.T. Toscana. **HERITAGE WINE**
* An organically produced red wine with a character one would hope to encounter much more often in Chianti's: delicious red (cherry) fruit, good intensity, elegance, very clean style  with an attractive tension between lively tannins, fresh acidity and a juicy mid-palate. An excellent alternative for Chianti.

Umbria Viticoltori  Associati  Sangiovese 2005, I.G.T. Umbria
* A modern red wine, not unlike a good and supple Chianti, beautiful Sangiovese expression: excellent peppery, super ripe cherry fruit, piquant freshness with some spicy tannins, with above all a very supple and gentle, well filled mid palate. Easy to drink wine, with tension and very good balance.  Excellent quality / price ratio.

* This wine obviously comes from a warm region, but has also a balancing touch of freshness, the strong and pure character displays ripe fruit, spices and balsamic nuances, the tannins are powerful but well embedded in the juicy taste impressions. Characterful, organically produced wine.

This sunbaked and very compact and concentrated wine is loaded with earthy, spicy, balsamic impressions, wrapped up in a thick blanket of ripe and spicy tannins around a strong core of acidity, it is deep and complex, don't expect elegance and refinement, but a very unique and singular character. A rare combination of balanced elegance, power, refinement, depth and complexity.  A bit austere, not an easy pleaser, but loaded with breed and style.  Great value for money.

* A really classical wine with many tannins, firm acidity, medium body and above all a beautiful array of earthy, spicy fruit next to some balsamic nuances, classy and complex wine, with real breed some elegance, austerity and a hint of rusticity. Strong personality, excellent wine.

Rivera  Triusco Primitivo 2001,  I.G.T. Puglia
- Drink now, will keep in shape for a year, maybe 2 or three, I am not so sure because there are already some chocolaty nuances in the wine. Will become more earthy and spicy, less fruity. Its body suggests a maturation potential of 3 years at least, its aroma's up to one year.
