* A very attractive dry rosé, both soft and fresh, also quite intense and clean style with ample ripe red fruit and mineral nuances, excellent balance between richness, power and clean freshness, not complex, but very versatile with food and delicious. Excellent value for money.

* This fortified, sweet white wine has a fabulous, smooth taste: concentrated, creamy and soft with a beautiful acidity, beautiful array of restrained aroma's of flowers, herbs, minerals and honey, a wine of great purity and impeccable balance.
- tasted: 22-04-’05 (retasted after 9 months: 01-02-2006: still in excellent condition, however the fruit and flowery nuances have changed into more nutty nuances, but the wine is as fresh and soft, with an excellent balance!! This is quite astonishing!)

* A rare, very traditional, fortified, sweet white wine of great intensity, richness and softness, beautifully oxidative in style displaying a nice range of nutty and caramel nuances, also mineral with a lively freshness, impressive balance.

* A great, classical and very mature fortified sweet red wine with many warm and complex nuances of nuts, caramel, raisins, cocoa and smoke, great intensity and depth combined with a creamy richness.

* This is a classical, fortified red wine from a hot region, the sweetness is perfectly balanced by some strong tannins, giving this smooth and soft wine great backbone, beautiful warm, spicy and raisiny fruit, lots of complex nuances with depth and intensity.

* Still very young, intense, classical, spicy and "warm" wine with great ageing potential, good concentration, strong tannins, and layers of semi-hidden raisiny fruit, spices, earthiness and minerals, not elegant or refined, but immensely honest, pure and convincing. Hugues de Beauvignac Picpoul de Pinet  2003, A.C. Picpoul de Pinet **HERITAGE WINE**
* Clean, very fresh, tight, mineral, concentrated, crystal clear, piquant and with just the right amount of richness. A perfect wine with ample character, refreshingly dry and interesting. * A wine of great purity, with complex and classy earthy spicy fruit, beautifully concentrated, intense, elegant, with freshness, minerals, great tannins and an exemplary balance between fruit and wood, the oak amplifying the exceptional fruit in a classic fashion. Everything in this wine is right!

Domaine des Homs 2003, V.d.P. des Coteaux de Peyriac. **HERITAGE WINE**
* A great "modest" wine crammed with impressive fruit with exemplary purity, great balance, intensity, ripeness, freshness and liveliness.  This wine is so natural and honest in style, begging for good food and able to keep you interested with new impressions glass after glass.

Hugues de Beauvignac Sauvignon-Blanc 2003, V.d.P. des Côtes de Thau
* In this wine really everything is right. The power, the freshness, the aroma's, the richness. Still very young, but in the aftertaste the real promise shows already well. Who said
Sauvignon-Blanc from the Midi is always boring?  Try this one, you will be amazed by its quality, style and especially its very affordable price.  A great little wine!

Fleur Bleue blanc  2003, V.d.P. d'Oc
* Very well made, dry, very fresh white wine, well balanced, with nice clean fruit (pineapple, pears, apples) and some minerals. Maybe a bit lacking in refinement and depth, but the balance and clean character are truly remarkable for such a competitively priced wine.

Fleur Bleue rouge  2003, V.d.P. d'Oc
* Very well made, easy going, very supple, ripe fruity, well balanced, uncomplicated, medium bodied wine with elegance, some freshness and very clean fruit. A nice luncheon wine, New-World-style but with the bonus of just that little extra touch of freshness and elegance.

* This is a silky, velvety soft wine with loads of fruit (crème de cassis, prunes) and some spices. Full-bodied, rich and warm in style, gamy "sauvage" fruit from the beautiful terroir, very strong aromatic personality, very easy, almost New-World-smooth taste.

* A very good, ripe, rich and sweet muscat, fortified, thus with natural unfermented sweetness of the grapes, with excellent purity of fruit, unctuous, very smooth and round, with some elegance and depth.

Domaine Boudau Rivesaltes sur Grains 2002, A.C. Rivesaltes Vin Doux Naturel .
* An excellent sweet red wine, made of 100% Grenache grapes, fortified, thus with natural unfermented sweetness of the grapes. In the same style as a good Vintage Port, but not as strong and heavy, but much more elegant and refined.  The perfect balance, the great refinement and the multi layered aroma's in this wine makes it so special.

Domaine de la Coste Cuvée Sélectionnée 2002, A.C. Coteaux-du-Languedoc Saint-Christol. **HERITAGE WINE**
* A wine with a strong expression of its terroir: impressively ripe and gamy fruity, not unlike a good, rich ripe red Burgundy, intense, soft and concentrated, warm, quite complex and deep with a beautiful balance between all constituents. A totally natural wine with breed and personality.

produced to provide maximum pleasure.  Environmentally friendly produced "New World" style wine, surprisingly rich and smooth for its French origin.

* A strong wine expressing its heavy terroir very clearly, not refined, or elegant, but quite concentrated, powerful, and with many intense earthy and spicy impressions (liquorice, laurel), combined with clean and ripe black fruits, some rustic tannins and good acidity, combines well with strong regional dishes and game.

* Well made wine from a difficult year, more powerful and full-bodied than the average Bergerac rosé, verging on the brink of a Bordeaux Claret, but with more freshness and more upfront primary and fresh berry and cherry fruit. Dry, smooth and well balanced wine that will please many consumers that find many dry reds too strong and harsh.

* Perfection in balance is the key feature in this wine. Rich and sweet, fresh, elegant and nuanced, impressions of honey, mushrooms, caramel, cream, raisins, hazelnuts and vanilla. Seldom you encounter such an extremely well balanced wine. At this price a real bargain!

* Still a bit young and shy on the nose, but already showing good potential, dense Vieilles Vignes character, concentrated, rich, but also very fresh because of the strong acidity and loads of minerals, needs time to settle and integrate, good and character full, attractively dry Pinot Gris, rich but not at all heavy. Eco-wine.

As delicious as a Pinot Blanc can be, nearly a Pinot Gris in style (creamy richness, nuances) but fresher, more upfront, more expressive fruity, great combination of intensity, freshness, nuances and drinking pleasure.
