Novelli Dolcetto 2006,  D.O.C. Dolcetto d'Asti "HERITAGE WINE"

Colour: very dark and deep purple.
Nose: very expressive, ripe, warm, with loads of cherries and cherry-stones, even some sweet impressions, beautifull, good intensity, honest and pure, very clean.
Taste: medium bodied, round, with some tannins, a fresh acidity, some alcohol and again loads of delicious cherry-fruit, impressions of blueberries, some minerals, a slight rustic twist, good intensity, tension and als warmth. Straight, honest and pure style.
Finish: long, very fruity (cherries, blueberries) some rustic tannins, but well balanced with juicy fruit and clean and pure finish.

* If you like an honest wine, pure, loaded with lovely fruit, some minerals, good intensity, freshness, a slight rustic twist, tension and excellent balance, in short the perfect expression of its vineyard, grape and vintage: this Dolcetto is your wine. It has a soft and fruity side (Dolce) and also a rustic and pure character, providing that unique lovely tension some Dolcetto's in Piemonte can offer you.

- Drink from now on, do not keep it will spoil that lovely fruit into some coarse and grainy, bitter chocolate impressions.

- Produced by a small producer, and unfortunately it will be difficult to find outside the village.
